Submission Deadline: WIDC Story & Leadership, Winter 2025-26

A one-of-a-kind professional development award program delivered in four parts over the course of four months; focusing on the development of live-action screen fiction (feature film, web and TV series) and offering pathways to effective authentic leadership.

Women In the Director’s Chair (WIDC)
Offering tailored mentorship, project development, workshops, production awards, and made-to-order outreach initiatives, WIDC builds capacity for women and non-binary screen directors to advance their careers and narrative screen projects in a safe collegial setting.

Connecting Collaborating Creating Community

WIDC recognizes the term Woman/Women is in an evolution of language and note that our intention in our use is to be fully inclusive of underrepresented persons who may identify as she/her and or they/them and share the goals and values of WIDC to promote these marginalized voices and stories.
