Hailing originally from Scotland, Yvonne DuBourdieu has been living and working in Edmonton for over 25 years. A documentary filmmaker for most of her life, Yvonne now splits her time behind the camera and in the studio where she has her art practice. Her films have aired nationally on television and screened at film festivals across North America. Many of her films have art, artists and disability art as a central subject. Her visual artwork shows regularly throughout Alberta.
Thriving outside the mainstream with style, cadence, and colour almost twenty years ago she established Arthouse Productions, a small independent video production company based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Arthouse produces beautiful looking films that entertain, inform and contribute to our world in a positive way.
