Veronika Kurz is an award-winning Vancouver-based filmmaker who is an alumni of both Capilano University’s Motion Picture Arts program and the Women In the Director’s Chair program. In 2017, Veronika successfully pitched and won the MPPIA Short Film Award for her film 20 Minutes to Life, which had its World Premiere at the 2018 Whistler Film Festival. The film went on to win 1st Place Comedy Short Shorts at the Just For Laughs – Northwest Film Festival and play on Super Channel as part of the 2020 Canadian Film Festival. Her dance film, Flow, premiered at the 2019 Sedona International Film Festival to two sold-out audiences and went on to play at several international festivals. Currently Veronika is prepping to direct her next short and is in development on her first feature.
