About

An experienced Canadian-Argentinian graphic designer and filmmaker, Soledad thrives on working with a wide range of technologies and narrative techniques such as photography, film and animation.

She has produced several short feature films and documentaries, including and , which were screened at film festivals in Cuba, Mexico, Argentina and Canada. At the National Film Board of Canada, she worked as a film animator and colourist. Additionally, she has designed advertising campaigns for private clients, from clothing stores to art exhibitions. Her background also includes teaching script, photography and documentary filmmaking in Argentina, Ecuador and Canada.

She has a Bachelor of Audiovisual Design (University of Buenos Aires), a Graphic Design diploma (College of the North Atlantic in Newfoundland), and a Master of Arts on Visual Anthropology (Memorial University of Newfoundland).

Soledad’s specialties are stationary graphic design, poster design, portrait and product photography, basic animation, short documentary and educational audiovisual productions. Her favorite tools are Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro and After Effects, and experimenting with handmade touches for unique and striking productions.
