A writer, director, producer, showrunner and actor originally from Newfoundland, Canada, Sherry White’s latest project, co-created with Tassie Cameron, is the hit comedy series, Pretty Hard Cases which airs on CBC.

Sherry White’s television credits include showrunning and directing season one and two of dark comedy Little Dog (CBC); executive producing on the drama series Ten Days in the Valley (ABC); writing and executive producing season two and three of Frontier (Discovery/Netflix) starring Jason Momoa; and working as co-executive producer on Shondaland’s The Catch. Additional credits include Rookie Blue (ABC/Global TV), Orphan Black (BBC America/Space) and Saving Hope (NBC/CTV).

Sherry wrote the multi-award-winning script for Canada/Ireland copro Maudie, starring Ethan Hawke and Sally Hawkins; Down to the Dirt (2008), The Breadmaker (2003), Relative Happiness (2014). Sherry wrote and directed the Genie Award-nominee Crackie (2009) starring Mary Walsh, which she workshopped while at WIDC in Banff.

Sherry executive produced the feature film, Little Orphans which picked up the 2020 Borsos Award at the Whistler Film Festival. She has also directed an episode of Nurses (Global TV).
