Kerry Gamberg is a co-President of Butter Pictures the local production company that worked on the Newfoundland episode of Parts Unknown. She was the Field Producer and Fixer on the program.
Kerry is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada, starting out in the industry on CBC’s hit television show Republic Of Doyle crew – first as a Production Assistant, and then as a Production Coordinator on the Netflix original, Frontier. Kerry is also the creator of The Hallidays. She received support from the Newfoundland & Labrador Arts Council and The City of St. John’s to write the pilot. Kerry was one of 10 emerging filmmakers chosen to travel to Los Angeles in 2016 with The Hallidays for a week of development with Hollywood professionals. Kerry was the Producer of Yarns, a CBC Comedy Coup project, and contributed as Field Producer for VICE’s upcoming television series Abandoned, to air on VICELAND and HBO in 2016.
In 2017 Kerry won the RBC MJ Award to complete her short film Crush. In 2018 she received a Telefilm Picture Start award for her short film Askin’ For It.
