Anna Sikorski is based in Montreal, Quebec. As a writer and director, she is drawn to fiction and takes inspiration from the themes of adolescence, sexuality and femininity. After her award-winning student short A Troublesome Desire, she wrote, directed and produced Missing, a 24-minute film that toured festivals world wide. Her short W-A-L-K was in competition on the CBC’s Short Film Face Off, 2015. She is developing a new feature film, Coma a magic realism story about a woman’s attempt to escape an abusive relationship.
Anna is an alumna of the WIDC CAM in Toronto and the WIDC production intensive in Banff.
